Begin with the property and scope
Check the property address and the areas investigated. Read any notes about access or tests that could not be completed. If a room name or flat number is unclear, ask for clarification while the visit is still fresh in everyone’s mind.
Match the findings to the photographs
ADI describes reports supported by photographic and video evidence. Read the image captions alongside the written findings. Keep a note of anything you cannot place within the property, especially where a photograph shows a close-up of pipework or a concealed space.
Clarify the next action
Before appointing a repair contractor, establish what the findings recommend and whether further access or investigation is needed. Ask which work ADI can quote for and what requires another trade. Record the agreed next action and who will arrange it.
Keep the full maintenance record
Keep relevant survey findings, photographs and repair records securely. Share only what each person needs for the work, and review how long personal information remains necessary. A clear maintenance record helps the next contractor understand what has already been investigated.
